Perfect Buttermilk Pancakes
I made pancakes a few weeks back, and they were beautiful. I got the “OMG how did you make them so perfect” comments. So i thought, “why not just do a post?”. Smart right?
People prefer to grab a pancake mix off the shelves (I used to do that), which is okay, but making them from scratch is “okayer”.
Notice there are 7 ingredients haha, seven the perfect number; perfect buttermilk pancakes.
If you use this exact recipe, it yields 14 pancakes, well I have 13 in the photo cause I ate one while I made them.
NB: When making this you really can just throw everything in the bowl and mix. it should take you less than 10 minutes, trust me.
- 1.5 Cups of Flour
- 3 tbsps of Melted Butter
- 1.25 Cups of Milk
- 3 tsps of Baking Powder
- 1 tbsps Sugar
- 1 tsps Salt
- 1 Egg
How to make it? Easy!
- In a bowl combine your egg, flour, baking powder, milk, salt, sugar and melted butter. Mix thoroughly with a whisk. And batter is ready.
- That’s all. I’m serious.
But wait, how I get the round shape? When you are pouring your batter in the medium heated pan, pour it in one exact spot, so the impact spreads into an almost or perfect circle.
