Asun Melt
Biting into one half of this sandwich, I immediately whispered, "BEST SANDWICH EVER"! Let me explain it to you - cheese, spicy scotch bonnet peppers, onions cooked down, tender goat meat. All of these flavors between two buttered toasted slices of bread - delicious. It felt like a grilled cheese sandwich but a grown-up version that grew up right in front of a restaurant in Lagos.
You might call it anything - a toastie or a melt- but whatever you call it, one thing is sure - you'll enjoy it, and forever, that first bite will be etched in your tastebud memories.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Adùn Asun
- 1 Tsp of Butter (to toast)

This recipe uses only a few ingredients, and it is super quick to put together.

- Add ½ tsp of butter on the slice of bread and toast on that side in a pan on low heat.
- Add half the cheese to the slice in the pan while letting it melt.
- Add your chopped Asun on top of the cheese.
- Add the rest of your cheese on top of the chopped Asun while the slice is in the pan.
